Relevant documentation and processes will be reviewed to supplement overall findings.

Often a problem can be perceived in one way, but the real root cause can often be different from that believed to be causing the problem. Viprotel will endeavour to identify the true root cause(s) and will engage on "deep dives" with client employees in intensive interactive workshops as deemed appropriate.

Once the full picture is obtained, revised problem statements, impacts on business and refined symptoms, complete with believed root causes will be fed back to the key stakeholders and main project sponsor.

The next stage is to propose possible remedies, through used of brainstorm sessions and provide range of options, when required, each being associated with both ease of implementation and likelihood of success.

These remedies will be reviewed and agreed with key stakeholders and then "Fix-it" action plans will be developed, including 30-60-90 day action plans with red-amber-green status flags. Viprotel would expect the client to fully own and drive these plans forward by themselves at this point. Viprotel at that time would provide on-going support, advice and feedback as to progress to key stakeholders and even disengage in the process, if the client is by then happy with the resolution or feels self sufficient to progress internally.

Viprotel is investigating future enhancements to this service, including applying the formalised use of six sigma (6?) techniques. The core of the Six Sigma methodology is a data-driven, systematic approach to problem solving, with a focus on customer impact.
